Britam Assets Managers Uganda has formally announced its collaboration with Nam Blazers, a dominant force in Uganda’s National Basketball League, for the ongoing season.
Under the terms of the agreement, Britam Assets Managers pledges a sponsorship sum of Sh20m to Nam Blazers, building upon their support from the preceding season. This alliance is anticipated to thrive and evolve positively over time. Notably, Nam Blazers had opted out of last year’s competition post the regular season in response to FUBA’s sudden decree, which stated that the league champion would not represent Uganda in the Basketball Africa League.
Having seen the club grow from a community entity which was established to offer Namuwongo youths a platform for life and basketball skills, the kit sponsorship deal will also see the Namuwongo side engage in community development initiatives, undertake corporate social responsibility activities and involve in matchday activations as part of the partnership.
