Real Betis is expanding its international reach with the inauguration of a new sports project in South Africa, Real Betis Camps Cape Town. This initiative complements the permanent academy already established in the southern part of the continent, Real Betis Academy Zimbabwe. Real Betis Camp Cape Town will be held from May 16th to 18th at the Fuare Stadium, and will provide an excellent opportunity for soccer players in the city and its surroundings to develop their skills under the guidance of Real Betis coaches.

The camp is open to players aged 5 to 18 years old, who will benefit from the Real Betis football methodology, considered among the best in the world. Participants will receive training from highly experienced coaches who will travel from Seville to Cape Town. Real Betis Camp Cape Town is just the first of several projects that Real Betis plans to undertake in the area.

Selected footballers will also have the opportunity to experience the Inside Betis program by traveling to Seville and training at the club’s facilities. The camp is being launched through Athletes Sphere Management, the same entity that manages Real Betis Academy Zimbabwe, which has been operating for three seasons and has over 150 players. The academy has also recently added a women’s team led by former Zimbabwean international player Rudo Neshamba.

Real Betis Academy is the grassroots development program of Real Betis Balompié, which seeks to share the methodology and training techniques of the Verdiblanco Club with young footballers around the world. With more than 1,500 players, the academy currently has 26 international projects with offices in the United States, Egypt, Algeria, Zimbabwe, El Salvador, Venezuela, and Georgia.
