Western Province has parted ways with their title sponsor, Six Gun Grill, ahead of the upcoming 2023-24 domestic season in South Africa. Six Gun Grill had been Western Province’s title sponsor since October 2020. The confirmation of the sponsorship exit was made by Michael Canterbury, the chief executive officer of the Western Province Cricket Association, during the members’ council meeting on May 17, 2023, at Newlands.

Canterbury stated that Six Gun Grill will not be renewing their sponsorship and is also withdrawing sponsorships from other entities. Western Province is now prioritizing the acquisition of new sponsors and is actively collaborating with Cricket South Africa in this regard.
